Feel the excitement and g-force of V8 performance racing with Australia’s premier V8 experience team for 8 laps at Calder Park. This legendary track is sure to get the blood pumping! The Club Circuit on the National Road Circuit is a 1.6km high speed thrill. Driving in a clockwise direction, this track features a long straight, tricky esses and challenging late braking corners.
Your V8 race car drive day begins with a registration, followed by pre-drive tuition on handling, apexes, braking points and overtaking procedure (though it''s not a race, overtaking is common - and very exciting!). Then it''s off to the pit lane, where you''re fitted out with racing overall and helmet. You are then strapped in behind the wheel of your choice of Holden or Ford - and you''re off! Your personal instructor will coach you through the intercom to make sure you go as fast as you can, as safely as you can on the 8 lap session.
The classic grandstand and enclosed viewing area provide an exceptional view of the entire track. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available on the day and a BBQ will be open on all Saturday and Sunday race days for the purchase of light meals.
